sorry if this has been asked before, but what is a repeatable quest that is reasonably easy and gives thousands of asura points?

You don't actually need a quest, just clear Magus Stones over and over. When I got lucky with blessings and bodyguard ranks I managed 7K points in one run. On the other hand when I had bad luck the run yielded less than 3K, so YMMV.

Yeah, clear magus stones. Thats what I did for the last 5k that I needed for rank 5 yesterday. I didn't want armor. just wanted to upgrade asuran skills!

I have had NO good luck with body guard rank ups and thus my best was a bit over 3k on my first run, it was worse the second time. If you can get all the rank ups one after the other (happened for me once) you can make a boat load of points. Cause bosses drop more points for each rank you got then top rank with rampage gives you 12 points per kill as long as you can keep it up.

Yup, and the best way to do it (I have found) is to go clockwise from the first shrine. You seem to get the bodyguard rank up quicker that way.

... At an earlier point when someone said "Outside Rata Sum" I thought they meant Riven Earth.... which given the high dinosaur population is a total nightmare... >_<;

Yeah. Even a bad run at Magus stones (bad luck with bonuses, not getting rank 4 etc or hunt rampage etc.) gives you about 3000 rep. Takes about an hour, bit less, bit more depending on how effective you are.
